U.S. ​New ​Business ​Intern at ​SpoonLabs


SpoonLabs is looking for ​an ​intern to ​join our New ​Business team, ​driving ​our next ​leap ​forward ​as a global ​audio ​and video content ​platform.

We ​recently ​rebranded from Spoon ​Radio to ​SpoonLabs ​to reflect ​our expanded ​vision.

This ​is a 3-month ​internship with ​a possibility of extension up to 6 months depending on performance and team discussion.

The New Business team is the dedicated organization driving innovation and new ventures for SpoonLabs' future growth.

In a rapidly changing market, we uncover hidden opportunities and shape the next chapter of SpoonLabs through a Zero-to-One journey.


What the New Business Team Does

  • Conduct research on new industries and market trends to identify expansion opportunities for SpoonLabs.
  • Analyze SpoonLabs' core competencies and design growth strategies based on them.
  • Structure problems and define real user needs through customer interviews, data analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Rapidly validate hypotheses by building prototypes of initial ideas and testing them with real users.
  • Lead the launch and operation of new services based on validated ideas.
  • Drive the full process end-to-end — from idea discovery to validation to execution.

💼 [Main Responsibilities]

  • Conduct trend analysis and user research focused on the U.S. market
  • Generate business ideas and define problems based on market data
  • Gain insights through competitor benchmarking and user interviews
  • Participate in MVP prototype planning and internal testing
  • Support various operational tasks such as meeting reports, idea refinement, and research

 

📌 [Qualifications]

  • Has business-level English communication skills (both speaking and writing)
  • Has a strong understanding of U.S. culture and consumers
  • Is passionate about startups and new business development
  • Has the ability to structure problems and organize information logically
  • Is available for at least 3 months of full-time work


[Preferred Qualifications]

  • Have experience living or studying abroad, especially in the U.S.
  • Have experience in market research, business modeling, or competitive analysis
  • Are familiar with collaboration tools like Notion, Figma, Confluence, or Jira
  • Have experience working in multicultural or global teams
  • Are proficient in multiple languages (e.g., Korean, Japanese)
